In the fall of 1996, we bought two parcels of land totalling 27 acres in the Methow
Valley. The following summer, we spent two weeks constructing a yurt with the help of
many friends. In 1999, we bought an adjoining six acre parcel
which borders a 300 acre Dept of Wildlife refuge called Golden Doe Ranch. We are about
three miles south-west of Twisp on Alder Creek nestled in the hills in front of
Doe Haven and Mt McClure. We love to have friends and family come up with us. Email
