We love being here and come up every chance we get. To the south, there is a 300-acre Dept of Wildlife refuge called "Golden Doe Ranch". To the west, there is one 80-acre parcel (the back-80) between us and National Forest Service land. Our "back-80" neighbors are very nice folks and don't mind us hiking on their land. Mt McClure, which you can see in the photo below, is on NFS land.
